Dime Magazine catches up with Luis Da Silva aka "Trikz", one of the very originators of freestyle basketball. The clip starts off with Trikz telling us how he got signed with Nike, and became the first streetballer to sign with them at the age of 18. After a brief synopsis of what his life has been like since then, Luis begins to prove why he's at the top of freestyle competitions and gives us a preview of what he's got up his sleeve. Trikz was introduced to the world first during the Nike Freestyle scenes that produced 2-4 commercials that aired on television. They made such a hype that Nike continued to sign more streetballers, and the commercials became widely known within months. Nike even put together a montage clip of behind the scenes footage with interviews of current NBA stars.
