ImageSince the beginning of the site, Dime's status has risen to a point never thought possible by a small organization looking for a name. The Dime Crew was the first to hit the streets with amazing originality. This caught on, and soon came thousands of Dime fans eager to visit the site every week. After long hard work, the release of Dime's first mixtape came, entitled Dime Mixtape: The Movement. It's been years since the release and it still remains to be one of streetball's top DVDs. If you haven't seen the first mixtape, you won't understand the culture and originality behind Dime.

With the upcoming publication Dime Mixtape 2: The Election, Dime fans across the globe are eager to get as much information as possible. Dime's manager, T-Mill, was kind enough to sit down with us and briefly answer a few questions to keep the anticipation rising, but under control.

The PGZ: First off, why did the name change from Dime55.com to Dime55.ca?
T-Mill: September 2005 DIME switched servers from www.dime55.com to www.dime55.ca. Our site popularity had grown past a limit that our server could not hold. Dime55.com tripled its allowance two months in a row. Thus we were forced to switch things up to a Canadian feel...

The PGZ: This new guy "Sho-Stoppa" means business. How did you pick him up?
T-Mill: Sho Stoppa is the real deal. He was an All-Canadian in high school two years in a row, also winning the dunk competition both years. Sho Stoppa had a long list of awards and accomplishments - it wasn’t hard to tell he was one of the best players in the country. He actually lead the country in scoring in high school at 39 points per game.
I have known Sho Stoppa for a while, and when the time was right at one of our events we accepted his offer to let him run with DIME. From there he never missed an event we went to and became one of our promotional players on the team.
You can see or hear Sho Stoppa playing professional basketball in Greece, he has told me some of the big accomplishments and highlights this early in his season. Be on the look out for more of Sho Stoppa in Greece on Dime55.ca

The PGZ: When does Dime 2: The Election hit the streets?
T-Mill: Dime55.ca will have a trailer of the Dime Mixtape 2: The Election complete with a release date.

The PGZ: Will there be a 3rd mixtape from Dime?
T-Mill: Our focus is strickly on Dime Mixtape 2: The Election. I am sure there will be a Dime Mixtape Volume 3. Stay tuned to the website for all that.

The PGZ: How is Ghost doing at college?
T-Mill: Ghost and Prince are doing great, they love college. It’s a competitive place to be and they are doing what is needed to be done.

The PGZ: Has Tru been playing semi-pro ball?
T-Mill: His agent is still working out the details. More news soon on that.

On Dime Mixtape Volume 2: The Election.
The Dime Mixtape 2: The Election will speak for itself. There is a nice buzz already surrounding the tape, I am looking forward to seeing what happens.

Last words.
To all the fans make sure you check out www.dime55.ca, it's going to be a great year for DIME this coming 2006. DIME ALL DAY
~ T-Mill
