 Kevin Simmons is inviting 16 of the top streetball teams on the east coast to a streetball tournament to be held in Union County, Florida. This tournament is no joke. If you think you have an organization that deserves a top spot, enter ASAP. To enter, you must cough up $2,000 and only one team can walk away as champions. Format is as follows: pool play into single-elimination tournament. Each team is guaranteed 3 games. The winning team will take home team and individual trophies, along with the $20K and an automatic entry into next year's event. Second place will get team and individual trophies, third and fourth place teams will get team trophies. The other 12 teams will take home a participation plaque.
To jumpstart the environment, there will be a 500 dollar slam-dunk contest. Other awards include MVP and All-Tournament Team. Live music and step and dance teams will also hype up the tournament. To ensure safety, there will be hospital rooms nearby. If you're serious about entering or sponsoring a team, make sure you do it before the deadline on April 15th. Only 16 teams will be accepted.
