Since AO, Biz, Main Event, Shane the Dribbling Machine and Co. launched their own Ball 4 Real streetball tour at the start of this summer, they have been rampaging across the country, killing in all 15 arena stops so far. They’ve conquered the West, doing their thing up and down the Left Coast, making their way closer and closer to the finale in NYC at the end of August. With a bunch of stops already in the rearview, I decided to check in with crew on tour to see how things are going on the court, on the bus and out at night… How is the tour going so far fellas? Special FX: Going good. Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Dallas, Seattle, Oakland, OK City - everywhere they showing us love. AO: It’s going good. Playing with the guys and everything its cool. Circus: Everything smooth. We winnin’. I’ll Be Right Back: The tour has been good. People are showing a lot of support... What do you guys do on tour when you’re not playing ball? Circus: Watch a lot of NBA TV. Play video games. Hang out in the city we’re in. Go to the mall. AO: A lot of the guys play video games. I don’t play as much as I used to. I used to be big on Madden. I just got done whoopin’ Circus’ ass in NBA Live though. I’ll Be Right Back: We listen to music, play video games. Play a lot of 2K7 basketball and baseball. Spyda’s the best in basketball and I’d have to give it to Special FX in baseball. We go out and check out the ladies too. Gotta checkout the biddies. What do you guys like most about this tour compared to what you used to do with AND 1? AO: It’s cool. We all chill and we own it. Special FX: Being that we own it, we make the decisions and its more fun. What has been the most live city? Special FX: Oklahoma City was a great game. Every city really has been good. Houston had Mike James and Andre Emmett. Circus: Chicago was a good game. It was close then we blew them out in the second half. What kind of music you guys listen to on the bus? AO: Fab and Ne-Yo. I like Jay-Z. I haven’t been feelin’ too much of that new stuff. If I hear one more of that lean-wit-it-rock-wit-it snap music, I’ma go crazy. Circus: That new 50, TI and Lil’ Wayne. I’ll Be Right Back: Lil’ Wayne, Jadakiss, Styles P, and Beanie Sigel. Special FX: A lot of Lil’ Wayne and 50. What has been the most memorable moment so far? Circus: Pharmacist took some kid’s shirt off, threw the rock up and High Rizer threw it down. It was crazy. I’ll Be Right Back: Watching the kids with all the dancing contest and stuff, it’s real funny. 720, High Rizer and Special FX all had some crazy dunks too. Those guys are amazing. DimeMag.com
