How did you do at the Toronto HIU this year?

I did extremely well this year at Dime HIU. This was my first HIU in Toronto since I made it my home. I took the roll of the General and made the team one unit. The team did so well we won the whole thing. Tru scoring at will, Prince dunking all over the place, Sho Stoppa bringing the above the rim game needed…we killed it.

How did the crowd react to you guys?

The crowd reacted to us like family. Chanting “DIME ALL DAY” cheering, they love us out here. What was it Kanye and The Game said…..oh..yeah…”We got the whole city behind us!” After we won our championship game like 50 people ran on court crowded our team and chanted DIME ALL DAY till the losers (who played well) left the court. It was great.

What's up with you, YPA, and DIME right now?

Well with all due respect and no ignorance provided, YPA is really not doing what we are doing. We have been holding down the internet for quite some time. Respect to them trying to get their money but they aren’t doing what we are doing. Dime is so far ahead we about to pass them twice.

The YPA All-Star game, you and Ghostrida going at it.  Was there any bad blood?

Surprisingly we were cool about everything until I got back to Toronto. I even lent him a dollar when we went to 7-11 that night because he couldn’t afford his piece of beef jerky. I look out for my peoples. I was shocked because in person he was all buddy-buddy and was saying things like “Man, forget the beef… you can take the name Ghost, mines Ghostrida…” you know friendly things. But, it’s a shame what happens when people get in your ear. Oh! And Ghostrida if you been reppin the name “Ghost”, which has been the main source of this beef, why you get a “Ghostrida” tattoo on your arm?  I don’t get it. If you really want to try and get fame off me say it. And we can play for that 1,000 dollars. First to eleven, no rules. Straight STREET.

What really happened?  We saw the YPA tape, but did we see everything that went down?

Hey, I'm a grown ass dude. I can’t lower myself to the level of an amateur video editor trying to degrade my name. What you see is what you get. Maybe ask YPA why they won’t let Ghostrida play for a 1,000 dollars.

What are your plans for attending a university at this point?

I was actually packing my stuff up as you guys messaged me. I will be in Memphis next year attending a division II basketball program. Great coach, great staff, great team. We will do well. I AM NOT A STREETBALL PLAYER …. I PLAY BALL!! What I mean by that is. I love streetball, as soon as fakes like..say….Ghostrida for example stepped on scene and started claiming to be a streetballer. I changed my perspective, because his perspective is whack… that’s why streetball bout to fade to black….

Is Toronto or Vancouver the place to be for you in street ball right now?

I would love to be in Vancouver, that’s my home, but there is really no competition out there for me. I took out a few names…example. Disaster. Showed what happens when you can call me out. And quite frankly I’ll let my iLL sONS fam eat the faces of whoever else stands out there. Six O Four MAD LOVE.  Toronto on the other hand, GUTTER. Developed my heart, intensity, made me realize the game besides the shooting, handling and all that. Four One Six STAND UP!!  Vancity I honed mah skills, Toronto where they paid the bills…

What is the current state of overall basketball in Vancouver right now?

As the king of Vancouver… It is what it is. I call my self the king for 2 reasons:
A) I am
B) After someone who got a lot of respect started dissing Vancity in slam, I decided I needed to step up and let it be known. I LOVE VANCITY, I love my fans in Vancity. I’ma rep 604 for life. Good or bad, cause it repped me.

How has your involvement in streetball changed since you got with DIME?

I been all over the internet for time. As soon as I dropped clips on Dime it was official. Tru and Ghost taking over. Tru had someone to ride with that wasn’t soft like candy. People started realizing what happens when you put 2 university capable players together with creativity and game.  Dime changed me, I changed Dime. That’s how the system works. DIME ALL DAY… say it… good!

What’s with the DVD situation right now, which one’s the hottest?
Well I really like Ghostrida’s team for trying, cause they tried hard. And that’s all that matters. But they didn’t do it…
1. Tru 2 the Game: Volume 2
2. Dime: The Movement (and yes its over a year old and still on top)
Look out for Ghost Mixtape: The Game Within the Game (dropping fall ’05)

But, I have to go run those stairs and hit them weights. Got a Championship to get next year. One love and thanks for the time.
